About Martin Perry

For more than twenty‑four years, I've dedicated my work to one thing: helping athletes understand and change the patterns that control performance.

I've coached Olympic champions, world champions, Premier League players, referees, golfers, snooker professionals, and young athletes across dozens of sports.

No matter the level, the story is always the same: the athlete has the ability — but something gets in the way when it matters most.

My job is to help you remove that "something."

My Approach

What I've learned is that performance problems almost always follow the same underlying patterns, regardless of the sport or the level.

Once you understand the pattern, you can change it.

That's what my approach is built on — not motivation, not mindset tricks, but a clear framework for understanding what's gone wrong and how to put it right.

It's the same framework behind my book, The Confidence Booster Workout, which has sold over 200,000 copies and been translated into six languages.

Who I Work With

I support:

Amateur athletes aged 12+

Parents who want to help their teenager

Professional athletes and teams

Clubs, academies, and organisations

Every athlete is different, but the goal is always the same: to help you perform at the level you train for.

Media & Speaking

My work has been featured across major broadcasters and media outlets, including BBC News, The New York Sun, MTV, Radio 4, BT Sport, Sky Sports, Adidas, Nike, and TED Talks @ Google.

Why I Do This

I've seen what happens when an athlete’s performance level dips — the frustration, the confusion, the feeling of "I know I'm better than this."

And I've seen what happens when performance levels return — the freedom, the joy, the confidence that finally reflect the work you've put in.

Helping athletes make that shift is the reason I do this work.
